In Elden Ring, hybrid spellcasting builds offer some of the most versatile playstyles for tackling tough bosses and exploring the Lands Between. Among the various sacred seals available, the Golden Order Seal stands out as an exceptional choice for players who invest heavily in both Faith and Intelligence attributes. Understanding where to locate this catalyst and how to optimize its scaling can elevate your fundamentalist incantations to impressive damage levels.
Where to Find the Golden Order Seal
Acquiring the Golden Order Seal requires traveling to the Altus Plateau region. Head to the Minor Erdtree Church located southeast of the Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace. Inside the peaceful church ruins, you will find the seal resting quietly on a corpse near the central altar area.
This location is relatively easy to reach once you gain access to the Altus Plateau, requiring no major boss fights directly inside the church. Securing this item early in mid-game allows hybrid casters to transition seamlessly into dual-scaling incantations.
Understanding Requirements and Attribute Scaling
The Golden Order Seal requires 17 Intelligence and 17 Faith to equip properly. Unlike traditional sacred seals that scale exclusively with Faith, this specialized catalyst gains substantial Incantation Scaling from both Intelligence and Faith equally. This dual-scaling mechanic makes it uniquely powerful for fundamentalist builds that hit higher soft caps in both stats.
Additionally, the Golden Order Seal passively boosts Golden Order incantations by 10 percent. Spells such as Radagon's Rings of Light, Discus of Light, and Litany of Proper Death gain significant damage improvements from this passive multiplier.
Optimizing a Faith and Intelligence Hybrid Build
To maximize the potential of the Golden Order Seal, target a stat distribution that balances Intelligence and Faith up to 45 or 80 depending on your level goals. Leveling Mind and Vigor alongside your primary casting attributes ensures adequate Focus Points and survivability in late-game zones.
Pairing this seal with versatile weaponry like the Sword of Night and Flame or fundamentalist sorceries creates a flexible combat setup capable of dealing Holy and Magic damage. Utilizing specialized gear and offensive talismans further pushes your spell efficiency during long encounters.
Final Recommendations for Golden Order Casters
The Golden Order Seal remains one of the highest-scaling sacred catalysts at high attribute thresholds in Elden Ring. By leveling Intelligence and Faith symmetrically, players can unleash rapid-fire holy spells while maintaining access to utility incantations. Committing to this specialized path provides a rewarding and powerful endgame spellcasting experience.
